PRO-LIFE
Kerr has been endorsed by Northern Kentucky Right-to-Life this year and every year he has run for office and has received awards and recognition for his hard work and dedication on behalf of children in the womb. NKRTL has stated that Tom “has been a staunch and valiant and courageous 100% Pro-Life warrior in the KY House of Representatives for the defense of innocent human life...His voice is desperately needed there”.
VETERANS’ ALLY
Kerr has been recognized by Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Joint Executive Council of Veterans Organizations and Paralyzed Veterans of America for “faithful and untiring efforts in assisting veterans and their families”.
TOUGH ON CRIME
Kerr has received the “Friend of the Police Award” for his tireless efforts for law enforcement in the General Assembly.
HARD WORKING
Kerr has been honored as the “Hardest Working Representative” by Voice of Taxpayers Everywhere in Kentucky (VOTE KY), a taxpayers group that monitors issues and votes of the General Assembly.

TAXPAYERS’ FRIEND
Kerr has been named the “TAXPAYERS’ BEST FRIEND” by Kentucky Taxpayers United for his efforts to reduce taxes. He has been hard at work in Frankfort to protect Kentuckians from additional taxes.
In the 2008 legislative session, Kerr voted against the proposal to increase taxes in House BIll 262.
COMMUNITY SERVANT
Kerr has donated many hours to the betterment of the community. A practicing attorney for over 30 years, Tom provides free legal services to the indigent as a member of the Pro Bono Panel. Tom has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Northern Kentucky Area Development District.
Kerr donates his services as legal counsel to Fairhaven Rescue Mission, Weekday School of Religion, and other charitable organizations.
In addition to serving as a deacon and church trustee, Kerr teaches an adult men’s Bible class. |
